Broomhill National Sculpture Prize Exhibition – NOW OPEN

10 Sculptors, 1 Exhibition, who wins – you decide!

For adventure, intrigue and certainly the unexpected, a must visit this Summer is the NSP Exhibition at Broomhill Sculpture Park, nr Barnstaple. Ten UK based sculptors selected by a top judging panel have been thrust together in a bid to win the 2011 NSP title.

Each of the ten finalists were given a £1,000 budget and 3 months to turn their proposed idea into an inspiring finished piece for the Exhibition.

“We’re thrilled with how this year’s exhibition has come together, the ten sculptors each have a very different approach, the combination of quality, imagination and variety elevates this exhibition above anything we’ve done before. If you’re anything like me you’ll be romanced, shocked, in awe, curious…it’s inspiring not to mention full of surprises! Many thanks to our sponsors for their support in making this possible.” — Rinus van de Sande

About peter

'Death by Sushi' Fish can kill me. When I was very small (maybe 3 or 4 years old) my grandfather, who lost the sight of one eye from a bullet fired by a German sniper (fortunately not a very good one) during the Battle of the Somme in World War 1, wiped my face with the corner of his apron, an apron he had used to wipe his filleting knife on. He was a grocery shopkeeper who specialized in wet fish.
