THIS IS (LIVE) SEX was recorded in a room with 3 microphones. It was part of an idea that miking a room was as important as the music produced, so this is a totally live track. The vocals were dubbed over in one take (although it is double tracked with reverb) so what you hear is spontaneous and essentially live. No lyrics were pre-written, so every element of this song is improvisatory.

BASS/VOCALS – Peter Bright

TAMBOURINE – Al McLeish

WEDDING DAY came through jamming in Jake’s room with a double bass and a Guitar. Jake and Peter recorded it onto a dictophone and then decided it was a good idea that should be used. As a result, they recorded it the next day and came out with this. The church bells a purely coincidental. No sooner had we finished recording, the local bell ringers came in to practice. We shoved a PZM through the window and mixed it in with the track.

UNTITLED (PreVocal Edit) was written and recorded in 45 minutes on 11th July 2007. Some 3 hours later, the first edit was finished and up on MySpace. The vocals are yet to be produced. The bass and guitar were recorded simultaneously in one take (although a few bum notes were scrubbed out).

About peter

'Death by Sushi' Fish can kill me. When I was very small (maybe 3 or 4 years old) my grandfather, who lost the sight of one eye from a bullet fired by a German sniper (fortunately not a very good one) during the Battle of the Somme in World War 1, wiped my face with the corner of his apron, an apron he had used to wipe his filleting knife on. He was a grocery shopkeeper who specialized in wet fish.
