The diversity of music out there will never cease to amaze me. You follow a link and ZAP you are somewhere unexpected. Cabezas de Cera are a bizarre mixture of 70’s Jazz Funk, Jazz, Experimental, South American and Eastern music – interesting stuff.

Translation:

A new, unique and innovative concept of progressive indie rock that is represented by the band Cabezas de Cera , demonstrates the immense creativity being generated in Latin America. The constant experimentation in sounds and rhythms, complex and determinant, drags us to extremes, we either like it or not, it does not allow the average, it pushes imaginative mental evolution, in many cases it appears sometimes incomprehensible.

Their perception of art and sound is indescribably seductive, sensuous and ethereal, fantastic, magical and inherent. Its complexity by the harmonious blend perfectly of the acoustic and the electronic and originality in their concept, through its use of unconventional instruments (some of them created by the drummer for the band) makes them all the characteristics to become a band ahead of its time in the context of contemporary music in Mexico.

About peter

'Death by Sushi' Fish can kill me. When I was very small (maybe 3 or 4 years old) my grandfather, who lost the sight of one eye from a bullet fired by a German sniper (fortunately not a very good one) during the Battle of the Somme in World War 1, wiped my face with the corner of his apron, an apron he had used to wipe his filleting knife on. He was a grocery shopkeeper who specialized in wet fish.
