Playing Live…

3 Pint Rule are playing Saturday, March 4 at 8:45 PM – 11 PM at Bratton Fleming Sports Club EX31 4 Barnstaple, Devon.

It’s party time ???? ? …but only 3 pints for us before playing (apparently that’s the rule?!). Support act Brieya May – Everyone Welcome…

Here is a video clip of us playing at Kings Nympton Village Hall on the 4th February 2017. We had a great time and the audience were brilliant. We have more gigs lined up for 2017.

The History of This Window – This Window (UK) was formed by Peter Bright around 1985; earlier tape experiments exist from 1979 to 1984. These tape experiments formed the basic philosophy of This Window. The analogue tape machine became the main instrument used to create ‘songs’. This interest in experimentation had been nurtured whilst being a member of the Exeter College of Art and Design bands, T.34 (1978 – 1980) and The Urge (1979). The Urge supported Adam and the Ants and Bauhaus and were offered a record contract with 4AD but decided to split up and consequently didn’t sign. In A Glass Darkly (1981) was a project with the lead singer from The Urge, Russell Young and two ballet dancers who performed to a tape backing track of a dripping tap, only a handful of gigs were played in London. This project ended and Peter later joined Finish The Story (1981 -1986) as guitarist. Read more…

'Death by Sushi' Fish can kill me. When I was very small (maybe 3 or 4 years old) my grandfather, who lost the sight of one eye from a bullet fired by a German sniper (fortunately not a very good one) during the Battle of the Somme in World War 1, wiped my face with the corner of his apron, an apron he had used to wipe his filleting knife on. He was a grocery shopkeeper who specialized in wet fish.
