New Paintings and Siouxsie Sioux

I have begun a series of paintings based on doing 4000 miles at speed in 5 days through 9 countries. I found this image below – which illustrates my point that ‘There’s no Surf in Zagreb but the Girls Wear Pink’

…………..
I’m currently working on a couple of new paintings. The first one is called ‘There’s no Surf in Zagreb but the Girls Wear Pink’ and the second is called ‘Thank God I Saw no Celtic Art in Ljubljana’. I’ve already completed a painting called ‘Lake Zürich (early morning)’ – this painting is almost representational – which was an accident.
I would like to display them somewhere – either in a car garage or dealership, bus station/train station…….have you any ideas or contacts who would like to exhibit them? If you do Mail me!

I can’t stop listening to this album!

Mantaray

Siouxsie SiouxMantaray, released 10th September 2007 (worldwide) & 18th September 2007 (USA).

Sioux’s voice is still a deep, smoke rasped, powerful attack, which like a good wine has actually improved with age. For anybody to (want to) blitzkrieg back and start over again at the age of 50 (plus)… has got to be mad – or at least demand respect. The original voodoo priestess (or Snow White’s wicked stepmother) has returned – Christmas has come early.

About peter

'Death by Sushi' Fish can kill me. When I was very small (maybe 3 or 4 years old) my grandfather, who lost the sight of one eye from a bullet fired by a German sniper (fortunately not a very good one) during the Battle of the Somme in World War 1, wiped my face with the corner of his apron, an apron he had used to wipe his filleting knife on. He was a grocery shopkeeper who specialized in wet fish.
