Found – vinyl release of 1988

A track on an album I recorded in a basement (Dungeon Studio) in Burlington Road, Beeston, Leeds called Wildlife has been unearthed. See http://m4tr.co.uk/m4trblog/?p=19

Saw Yourself In Half

I can remember driving up to Leeds and arriving in a cobbled street lined with ‘back to back’ houses. We knocked on the door and there was no answer…….a mysterious voice, from somewhere in the street shouted “There’s nobody in!”, we stood in the middle of the road but the whole road was deserted…S T R A N G E…We eventually found somebody and the session began.

There are still some missing This Window masters and releases – can anybody help? Has anybody got a copy of ‘Ignition Mix’ ?

About peter

'Death by Sushi' Fish can kill me. When I was very small (maybe 3 or 4 years old) my grandfather, who lost the sight of one eye from a bullet fired by a German sniper (fortunately not a very good one) during the Battle of the Somme in World War 1, wiped my face with the corner of his apron, an apron he had used to wipe his filleting knife on. He was a grocery shopkeeper who specialized in wet fish.
