Edge of Chaos – Review

One of the biggest influences on my music was an album released by Virgin Records in the early 1970’s called ‘The Faust Tapes’ by the German band Faust. This masterpiece was retailed in the UK for 49 pence. This album was so important to me it inspired me to record ‘Extraction’ which was released in 1989 by EETapes of Belgium and remixed and slotted onto our iTune download album ‘Cassette Culture 1989 – 2009’

This has come the closest for me to the anarchistic recording style of that album and the track ‘Skin’ is a masterpiece. The tracks on the player are the kick up the arse I needed and has got me rethinking my position as a recording artist. What more can I say except well done you bastard!

About peter

'Death by Sushi' Fish can kill me. When I was very small (maybe 3 or 4 years old) my grandfather, who lost the sight of one eye from a bullet fired by a German sniper (fortunately not a very good one) during the Battle of the Somme in World War 1, wiped my face with the corner of his apron, an apron he had used to wipe his filleting knife on. He was a grocery shopkeeper who specialized in wet fish.
