Jane Silence

I have always been a sucker for classy female vocals and Jane Silence ticks all the boxes for me. Confidence exudes from her tracks and the epic “October (in Silence)” is a perfect example of her skill in delivering a lyric in a cool sensitive manner. “Ache” dips a toe into a limpid pool of warm luscious swirl – I could eat this by the spoonful!

Jane Silence
is all about telling stories, concocting ethereal landscapes, and exploring the light and dark in human nature. More than just music with a beat, her luscious vocals give way to lyrics with substance, apt to be molded into any given situation be it love, deceit, or something mysteriously in between. When it’s dreamy, The Ladylovely EP will seduce more than the surface of your ears, but be prepared for “Ache,” when Jane dares you to undress your prohibitions.

About peter

'Death by Sushi' Fish can kill me. When I was very small (maybe 3 or 4 years old) my grandfather, who lost the sight of one eye from a bullet fired by a German sniper (fortunately not a very good one) during the Battle of the Somme in World War 1, wiped my face with the corner of his apron, an apron he had used to wipe his filleting knife on. He was a grocery shopkeeper who specialized in wet fish.
